I. The Vanished Civilization
Long ago, a great civilization thrived upon this world — wise, elegant, and unmatched in both mechanics and magic.
Nations sent gifts and offerings in hopes of earning their favor or sharing in their knowledge, but few were ever graced with their presence.
Then, without warning or trace, they vanished from existence.
 
II. The Remnants
Their cities remain scattered like echoes — immaculate structures, impossible mechanisms, inscriptions that no scholar has ever translated.
Their metals do not rust, their lights never dim, and their silence hums with a faint, song like resonance.
 
III. The Sanctuary of Tuwen
In the deep forests of Tuwen, an adventurer once reflected the light of a crystal believed to be Empyreal in origin against a hidden waterfall.
Behind it lay a sanctuary — a vast chamber of still water and silver light.
At the center of a pond stood a mirror-like construct surrounded by skeletons frozen mid-reach, as if trying to touch its surface.
One held a shard of brass-like metal. When restored to the mirror, it shimmered and opened a portal beyond comprehension.
 
IV. The Aftermath and the Paradox
Many expeditions entered. Only one returned.
Those who survived spoke in an unknown tongue and carried sketches of floating mirrors suspended across space.
After countless battles for control of the site, it was ultimately destroyed — the cave collapsed, sealing it beneath stone and time.
All known fragments of the mirror were recovered and divided among the great halls for safeguarding.
Yet the piece brought to us is unlike any of them — crafted in a different style, as if from the mirror on the other side.
